Queen of the Rosary prayer group

We meet every Monday (except BankHolidays) in the Parish Centre, from 8.00 – 9.15. We meet as a Cenacle, using the format of the Marian Movement of Priests, praying for Pope Benedict XVI.

We pray the Rosary, Litany of Loretto and sing hymns.

After the rosary and litany we have a reading from the book ‘To the Priests, Our Lady’s Beloved Sons, and then we discuss the reading.

We then have prayers of petition and the Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and finish with the hymn ‘Hail Queen of Heaven’.

A fact about your parish that that might surprise you is the Rosary has been recited in our Church every day after 10.00 am mass for  the  last 34 years. The practice was started by Mrs Claire Caffrey (R.I.P.) and parishioners some of whom still lead the Rosary today.  The Rosary is also said after the 7:30 pm evening mass every day, a practice that started some years ago. Please feel free to come and join in in the prayer that never fails
