Trócaire was established by the Irish Catholic Bishops in 1973 as a response to poverty and injustice in the developing world. Since then Trócaire has supported projects in many countries with the help of Irish people. The annual Lenten appeal is the major fund-raising effort to support the work of Trócaire.
This year’s Lenten campaign is now over. Please return your Trócaire box to the Church so that your donations may be passed on to Trócaire. Alternatively you can open your box, count the contents and send a cheque for the total amount collected directly to Trócaire at St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth, Co. Kildare or donate the total amount with a credit or debit card using the donate button on the Trócaire website – www.trocaire.org
