We have been blessed with ‘news of great joy’. Archbishop Farrell has seen how we have lost of late both the ministry of Fr Denis here in Castleknock and of Fr Brendan in Laurel Lodge since their retirement several months ago.
Starting this September, Fr Dominik Domagała, who hails originally from Poland, will be a new Curate in our Parish Partnership. He spent several years working in Bluebell parish here in Dublin with the Oblates of Mary Immaculate and has been ministering in the parish of Rosignano Solvay, near Livorno, Italy, this past year. He is 34 years old and so brings us youth and energy as well as his many gifts. Some of you may know him already from his regular writings on the Scriptures in the Irish Catholic. He will be living in Auburn Drive. Give him a warm welcome and pray in thanksgiving to the Lord for this great blessing to our partnership of parishes.
Because of Fr Dominik’s arrival, we are able to reinstate the 6pm Saturday (Vigil of Sunday) Mass, beginning this coming weekend 5th September.
